Shipping Policy:
The size and complexity of projects being worked will determine shipping time. We do have some items in stock but there may be a wait of a few days to a week before an order can be completed and shipped.
Shipping: We will ship your order by UPS Ground or US Mail with the charges included in the final total. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii at this time. We do not ship overseas at this time.
Sales Tax: We are required by law to charge 5.5% sales tax on all sales made to locations within Wisconsin. Shipments made outside of Wisconsin do not include sales tax.
On-line Purchases:
All online purchases are handled through Paypal. This insures total security and fraud elimination by using their secure transaction servers Additional benefits:

Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards through our secure PayPal Shopping Cart System.
When you checkout you will do so on PayPal's secure site and we never recieve or view your credit card information.
We do not recommend normal mail or e-mail for credit card information due to security reasons.
We also do not recommend mailing cash but you may send a check or money order.
We will send confirmation by email when your order is shipped.
Customer Service :
Custom Orders: We welcome inquiries for custom hand forged ironwork. We will need sketches, photographs, dimensioned drawings for quoting prices. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before we start the project with the final 50% due before shipment. We reserve the right to decline any order based solely on our discretion and we cannot offer exchanges or refunds on custom orders.
Custom Finishes:All standard pieces are wire brushed to reveal a shiny pearl-grey luster, and then are heated and coated with a thin film of beeswax to preserve the finish. Holes are pre-drilled to 3/16 inch and black ornate screws are included. We will be happy to work with you to get the look you want in your custom application.
Privacy Policy: Forge Ahead does not sell, exchange, rent, distribute or otherwise disseminate names or other information about our customers. We value our customers' privacy and will not violate your trust while doing business with us on the Internet. We use phone numbers and email addresses solely for communication about active orders and typically send an email confirmation of your order, which includes shipping date and method.
Quantity discounts and wholesale: We aim to produce our ironware with the most efficient use of our time and at the lowest cost to our customers, so we regret that we cannot quote wholesale pricing to distributors or other resellers.
Exchanges and Refunds: We understand that making a choice from a picture on the Internet can be difficult. Since we want you to be happy with your purchase, we will gladly refund your money (except shipping) or provide an exchange on items you find are unsatisfactory. We don't charge restocking fees but we do ask that you perform the following:
- Please contact us before sending anything back. We can't provide proper credit without knowing who you are and what was ordered.
- Please use the same or equivalent packaging to return the item(s) to us to prevent damage during return shipping.
- Please provide for prepayment of return shipping charges to us. We pass shipping charges along at cost so we ask the same in return.

Forge Ahead Designs LLC manufactures hand-forged iron items that are intended for decorative, residential use. The items found on this website are made from mild steel and may cause harm if misused.
